Wentworth Intermediate - LIbrary - Research Tools

Evaluating Web Sites

Internet resources are very useful tools but should not be your only source of information. There are also books, journals, government publications, brochures, newspapers, personal interviews, and more for you to use.

Anyone can put anything up on a Web site, therefore it is important to know how to evaluate Internet sources. Click on the "Evaluating Web Sites" link above to read about what to consider when looking at a Web site.

Citing Sources   (You are now leaving the Wentworth School Library Web site.)

It is important to include a full citation to all the sources you use when doing research so the author is given proper credit. Click on "Citing Sources" to go to a site that will help you create your citations. Make sure to include a citation for every source used. Some database sources will include a link that tells you how to cite that article.
