Next Year (FY '11) Budget Information
On March 18, 2010, the School Board voted to approve the FY2011 budget as proposed and amended by the Finance Committee. An increase in State subsidy (GPA) and a reduction in projected health insurance costs allowed the Board to restore $460,100 to their original appropriations proposal. The increase restores 8.3 FTEs from the Finance Committee's February 23 proposal of positions to be eliminated; a revised list of position cuts is here. An updated Revenue Summary shows the changes since the February 23 proposal was posted.
The School Board's budget will now be forwarded to the Town Council for their consideration. Please go to the home page for a schedule of School Board and Town Council meetings leading up to the budget validation referendum on May 11, 2010.
