Student Assistance Team

The Student Assistance Team is a diverse group of school personnel committed to offering support, recommending alternatives, and facilitating resources for students who are encountering difficulties in school.

The purpose of the team is to assist these students in having a successful and positive school experience. We only succeed when we are partners in the same goal. This goal is providing the best for the future of our young people.

SAT Team

We are a team of supportive staff who gather two times a month on Monday mornings to help students who need social, emotional, or academic support. The team is made up of teachers, administrators, the school nurse, the school social worker, and support staff. This year's team is:

Teachers Care

We address many types of behaviors: academic decline, frequent absence or tardiness, physical/emotional heath problems, disruptive behaviors, out-of-school issues affecting school performance, etc. The SAT attempts to design and implement intervention strategies to promote the academic, physical, emotional, and social success of each student.

Referral Process

Teachers with concerns complete a referral form and contact the student's parent or guardian. A meeting is scheduled, the issues are discussed and solutions are brainstormed. A follow up meeting may be schedule to check in on a student's progress.
