Drawing a shoe or sneaker from observation, these art students overlapped, enlarged or shrunk their original drawings. To complete the composition and use the space well, other people's shoes were added. Using complementary colors and special watercolor pencils, students blended the colors inward to create a 3-D look. Black and white was used to create pattern and emphasize the background.
